Let's Give Buddy the Second Chance He Deserves!

Buddy is a ten-year-old who came to Purrfect Pals because he has several medical issues and needs our help. He is severely underweight, has FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus), the worst case dental disease we've seen in a long time (pus is dripping out of his mouth and there are no words to describe the smell!), is missing part of his tongue, has a degloving injury on his paw and needs abdominal surgery for cryptorchidism. On top of all of that, he has a nasty upper respiratory infection. He couldn't possibly be any sweeter, though, and wouldn't stop making muffins during his exam. We're so glad he was rescued and made his way to Purrfect Pals so we can get him patched up!

Buddy is currently on pain medication for his mouth and leg and his upper respiratory infection is being treated with antibiotics. Once he is starting to feel a bit better better, we will need to schedule dental surgery. His mouth is in such bad shape that we expect he will need to have all of his teeth extracted. Then he will need abdominal surgery and possibly further procedures on his injured foot.
