Support our Free Spay & Neuter Voucher Program for Low-Income Cat Owners

Purrfect Pals is located in the Smokey Point/Lakewood neighborhood of rural Snohomish County, one of the fastest growing areas in Washington State. With that rapid population growth comes even more cats and kittens in need of our help.

We are fortunate to have several wonderful low-cost, high-volume spay and neuter clinics in Snohomish County. Operated by nonprofit organizations including The NOAH Center and The Feral Cat Spay and Neuter Project, the fees for these low-cost surgeries range from $15.00 to $45.00 for owned cats and kittens. These clinics have dramatically reduced the number of unwanted litters in recent years but there is still a need to make spay and neuter more accessible for cats in Snohomish County. We continue to receive calls and emails daily from low-income cat owners who want to have their pets altered but cannot afford $15.00-$45.00 per surgery. Many are struggling to feed their children or pay their utility bills so a “luxury” like low-cost spay and neuter is out of reach for them.

With your help, we can help these low-income individuals for whom low-cost surgery fees are a hardship and provide them with free spay and neuter vouchers which they can redeem at participating clinics. Purrfect Pals will then reimburse these nonprofit clinics directly for their services. It takes a village to end cat homelessness but, together, we can make it happen!
