Two special vintage cats lost their lifelong owners and need our help.

Baby Francis and Spooky Sailor came to Purrfect Pals and, though they have not met, they have much in common. Both are vintage (senior) kitties who lost their lifelong owners unexpectedly and are in need of treatment for hyperthyroidism. Ten year old Baby Francis was surrendered to Purrfect Pals when her owner needed to move into assisted living. Fifteen year old Spooky Sailor was displaced and brought to us when her owner passed away. Both are wonderful cats and we are committed to treating their hyperthyroidism so we can find them loving retirement homes.

Our plan is to send them to the Feline Hyperthyroid Treatment Center in Shoreline for Radioiodine Therapy. Hyperthyroidism is the most common hormonal disease of cats resulting from excess thyroid hormone, which puts significant and potentially fatal stresses on the body. Radioiodine therapy is the safest and most effective therapy available. It's less risky than surgery and doesn't require medicating the cat daily for years. Most cats stay a couple nights before returning home.

While FHTC provides us with a very generous discount, it will cost us $1200 to prepare and treat these two. Once they have been treated, their hyperthyroidism should be completely cured! Will you please help us provide this treatment by donating or sharing this link today?

Any funds raised which exceed the amount needed for Baby Francis and Spooky Sailor's treatments at the Feline Hyperthyroid Treatment Center (or for testing at Purrfect Pals to prepare them for their procedures) will be added to our Tipper Fund to help other cats in need of surgery or other major medical care.
